Sangakara hit a century against India in 8th ODI of CBS, SL-236/6
Sri Lanka scored 238/6 in their 50 overs in the 8th ODI of SB Series at Adelaide Oval, thanks to Kumara Sangakara who hit a magnificent century which has given Sri Lanka an excellent platform. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka elected to bat first, was struggling at 6 for two wickets in 3 overs.
Sangakara scored 128 off 128 balls with 12 fours, more than half of the Sri Lanka's inning is the highlight of the inning.
A solid thir wicket partnership between Sangakara and captain Jayawardhane put Sri Lanka on the way to respectable 236 runs.
For India, Irfan pathan, Munaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh took 1 wicket each.
